Roadside assistance anywhere in the UK 24 hours a day, 365 days a year providing you are at least a quarter of a mile from home. If we can't fix your car at the roadside within a reasonable time, then we'll give you a tow to a nearby garage within a 10-mile radius.

Covering other people

With RAC breakdown cover, you can choose to cover other members of your household.

- Single - Covers you as a driver or passenger in any vehicle*.

- Joint - Covers you and one other named member of your household as a driver or passenger in any vehicle*.

- Family - Covers you and up to four named members of your household as a driver or passenger in any vehicle*.

Subject to the payment of the appropriate supplements.

*Non commercial vehicles only. Excludes certain vehicle types.
